Automated deburring: 25% higher output in thermoset processing

How can existing manufacturing processes be made more efficient without rebuilding the entire production system?

In our thermoset compression moulding facility, we automated the component flow of centre plates between the blasting and inspection systems. A modern conveyor tracking system detects the components directly on the moving conveyor belt and enables real-time robotic feeding.

The key results:

→ Camera-based component detection on the conveyor belt

→ Robotic feeding without interrupting the component flow

→ 25% higher output at the inspection system

→ Reduced energy and compressed-air consumption

→ Increased system availability and less downtime
